1943, Cashin accepted an offer to design film costumes in the “glamour division” of Twentieth Century-Fox.  She would ultimately work on over sixty pictures, and also used her time there to experiment with ideas for “real” life.  She exclusively wore her own designs, and developed a private clientele of Fox starlets who requested custom versions of her designs for their off-screen wardrobes.
